Together we are better!
Kicking off in Spring 2016, the Manchester Connects planning initiative has begun to address the interests and concerns of the businesses & residents Downtown and in the Millyard and will seek ways to enhance what this distinctive area has to offer all of Manchester and the region.
The plan is all about connectivity – figuring out how to best help people move through and to the area on foot, by bike, car, bus, and (someday!) train. We’ll also be looking at parking and will be exploring how to connect the events, programs, and vibrant activities around the city to this core area—and to the Merrimack River.
It builds on previous efforts by key stakeholders in the city to reinvigorate the riverfront and Millyard, making Manchester an appealing destination for new businesses, residents, and visitors.
So what are we connecting?
